Sara Marita Kramer (born October 25, 2001 in Apeldoorn , Netherlands ) is an Austrian ski jumper .

Career

Marita Kramer started under her first name Sara. Her international debut was on August 9, 2015 at an Alpine Cup competition in Klingenthal . In this competition class, she achieved her best result to date on August 13, 2016 with fifth place on the Ochsenkopfschanze in Bischofsgrün . Since the FIS Cup on September 4, 2016, the jumper has been listed in the FIS results lists as Marita Kramer . Although her first name is 'Sara', since 'Marita' is in the birth certificate, it is also used in all official papers. On September 10, 2016, Marita Kramer took part in a competition in the Continental Cup for the first time. She reached her first points with a 27th place in December in Notodden .

At her debut in the ski jumping World Cup on February 4, 2017 in Hinzenbach , she finished 29th and thus collected her first World Cup points.

At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2018 in Kandersteg , Switzerland , she finished seventh with the junior team and 26th in the individual. In 2019 she took part in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships , this time in Lahti, Finland . With the junior team, which also included Lisa Hirner , Claudia Purker and Lisa Eder , she won the bronze medal. In addition, there was fourth place with the mixed team and eleventh place in the individual. On January 11, 2020, the 18-year-old celebrated her first World Cup victory at the World Cup jumping in Sapporo .

Personal

Sara Marita Kramer has both Austrian and Dutch citizenship. She didn't rule out starting for the Netherlands in the future. Her younger sister Femke (* 2003) is also active as a biathlete for the ÖSV in winter sports. In addition, Kramer has two brothers. She attended the Stams ski school .
