After further good jumps, Bartol was finally able to win the third competition. With it he drove his first two Continental Cup victories. In Rovaniemi, Bartol was able to jump onto the podium again after finishing tenth in the first competition with third place in the second competition. After these successes in the COC, he made his debut in the World Cup as part of the Four Hills Tournament 2015/16 . He survived the qualification in Oberstdorf and Innsbruck , but with the places 47 and 49 was not able to get any points. In the mixed team competition he also won the gold medal together with Nika Križnar , Ema Klinec and Žiga Jelar, this time ahead of Germany and Japan. After jumping almost the entire 2016/17 season in the Continental Cup and scoring his third COC victory, he was used again in the World Cup at the end of the season . As part of the Raw Air 2017 in Oslo , he was used for the first time in team jumping and was sixth with the Slovenian team. In the individual he just missed the points as 31st. At the World Cup final in Planica, he again missed his first points in 38th place.

On August 26th and 27th, 2017 Bartol made his debut in Hakuba in the Summer Grand Prix . He finished ninth and fifth and thus achieved top ten placements right away in his first appearances. In the further course of the summer he jumped in the Continental Cup and achieved his fourth COC victory on October 1st in Klingenthal , along with other podium finishes . On January 1, 2018, he finished fifth in Garmisch-Partenkirchen as part of the Four Hills Tournament 2017/18 and thus achieved his first top ten placement and also his best season result in the World Cup. At the Ski Flying World Championships 2018 in Oberstdorf he finished 39th in the individual, he was not used in the team competition. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he was part of the five-man Slovenian squad and was used in all three competitions. With the Slovenian team, he was fifth in the team competition on the large hill . At the World Cup final in Planica , he achieved his first podium finish in the World Cup as third in the team competition. In the overall World Cup, he finished 25th with 185 points.

In the 2019/20 World Cup season , Bartol was an integral part of the Slovenian team until jumping from the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck as part of the Four Hills Tournament , even if he was only able to reach the points twice. Meanwhile, he was plagued by pain in his right knee, which was probably related to the injury from the previous year. So he underwent a knee arthroscopy , which forced him to end the season prematurely. He finished the season with three World Cup points.
