Audenrieth, who has been a ski jumper since 1989, was accepted into the national team in 1997 and completed his first World Cup competition on December 29, 1997 as part of the Four Hills Tournament in ski flying in Oberstdorf . He finished the competition in 43rd place. On January 17th, 1998 he reached the 10th place on the large hill at the World Cup competition in Zakopane , Poland, his best individual result in a World Cup competition of his career. He could not repeat this result and usually only reached top 50 places. That is why he only started in the Continental Cup from 2002 . In the 1998/99 season he won the Continental Cup with a total of 1208 points. At the German Championships in 2000 in Oberstdorf, he won the championship title with the team. After he won his last Continental Cup competition in the 2002/03 season with jumping in Ishpeming , United States and reached 4th place on the following day, Audenrieth ended his active ski jumping career. He is now the chief technician of the German world cup ski jumpers.
