Tomáš Zmoray (born July 26, 1989 in Banská Bystrica ) is a former Slovak ski jumper . “Zmordy”, as he is also called, jumped for the ŠK Kartík Banská Bystrica .

Career

He made his first two World Cup starts in Pragelato on the 2006 Olympic hill on December 13 and 14, 2008, where he was 47th and 56th of 50 and 61 starters respectively. His greatest success was winning the Continental Cup on February 7th, 2009 at the Wielka Krokiew in Zakopane at a Continental Cup competition, where he won a competition of 83 jumpers in front of Borek Sedlák from the Czech Republic and Marcin Bachleda from Poland . At the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver , Zmoray dropped out of the normal hill in just 42nd qualification. He qualified for the competition on the large hill and was 43.

In March 2008, Zmoray became Slovak champion for the first time in Štrbské Pleso . He was able to win this title again two years later in his hometown Banská Bystrica .

In the 2010/11 season he won the overall ranking of the FIS Cup .

His last participation in a competition was in March 2014.

Zmoray lives in his hometown Banská Bystrica.
