Career
Since the 2006/2007 season, Schaparov established himself as the undisputed number 1 of the Kazakh association. At the Kazakh Ski Jumping Championships 2009 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , he won the gold medal on July 18, 2009. In the World Cup he has not been able to win any points since 2008, and he remained without points in the 2009/10 season . At the Summer Continental Cup 2010 in his home town of Almaty, he finished sixth and twelfth and finished in 54th place overall.
At the Winter Asian Games 2011 in Almaty , Schaparow won the bronze medal on the normal hill. He finished eighth on the large hill. With the team of Kazakhstan he also won the silver medal in the team competition.
