The Woloma ( Russian Во́лома ; Karelian Vuoloma ) is a river in the Republic of Karelia in northwestern Russia .
The Woloma has its origin at 210 m altitude in the 9.9 km² lake Woloma in the Mujeserski district of the same name . It flows in a predominantly east-southeast direction through the Medweschjegorsk Rajon . It flows through several smaller lakes. Finally it flows into the north-western shore of the outflow-regulated Lake Segosero . It is thus a source river of the Segescha , which forms the outflow of the Segosero.
The Woloma has a length of 138 km. It drains an area of 2070 km². The mean discharge 35 km above the mouth is 20.3 m³ / s. The spring flood occurs every year during the snowmelt in May .
