Women's Cricket World Cup 2013

The 2013 Women's Cricket World Cup was the tenth Cricket World Cup women who in the one-day format was held on 50 over. It was held in India from January 31 to February 17, 2013 . Australia became world champion and won 114 runs against the West Indies in the final .

Eight national teams took part. The first four qualified for the 2009 Women's Cricket World Cup .

Furthermore, a qualification tournament between ten teams was held, the Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2011 , in which four teams also qualified.

Venues of the tournament

The tournament will be played in several stadiums in the cities of Mumbai and Cuttack . The final took place at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

The eight teams were divided into two groups of four teams each, with each team playing against each other. The top three in each group qualified for the Super Six round. There, in another group round, the games were played that did not take place in the preliminary round. The results for the games that took place in the preliminary round were taken. The two group winners of the Super Six round then carried out the final.
