The WonderSwan Color is a handheld console of the sixth console generation from Bandai .
history
She appeared on 30 December 2000, Japan and competed with the Game Boy Advance of Nintendo . The release price was 6800 yen , which is about 45 euros . Outside of Japan, the device was only sold in South Korea.
The previous model WonderSwan developed by Gunpei Yokoi was released in Japan in 1999. In contrast to the current version, this system was a little smaller and did not have a color screen. The new model has a significantly lower energy consumption. With an AA battery it is possible to play for 20 hours.

The device appeared in the colors crystal blue, crystal black and crystal orange, as well as in the matte colors blue and pink.
Special attention was paid to limited editions. In addition to two Gundam editions, this also includes two models in the design of Final Fantasy , which were delivered together with Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II .
