Wonnegauviertel

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Wonnegauviertel is a single-family house settlement built in the 1930s in the Berlin district of Nikolassee , which today belongs to the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district (then: Zehlendorf district ). This is named after the Wonnegau , a Rhine-Hessian wine-growing region, after whose places ( Westhofen , Osthofen , Pfeddersheim and Albig ) the streets of the quarter are named. Around 2800 people live in the Wonnegauviertel today.
