The Woodfield Channel is a strait in the Adelaide and Biscoe Islands off the Fallières coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . In Marguerite Bay , the channel separates at the southern end of the island of Adelaide , the group of Dion Islands of which Henkes- and Rocca Islands .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1963 after Thomas Woodfield (* 1933), first officer on board the RRS John Biscoe to survey this area in 1963.
