Worachai Surinsirirat ( Thai : วร ชัย สุรินทร์ ศิริ รัฐ , born March 26, 1973 in Surin ) is a former Thai football player who last played in the Thai Premier League for FC Chula United . So far, he has spent his entire career at only three clubs.

Worachai began his career in 1994 at the traditional club FC Raj-Vithi . In 2000 he moved to BEC-Tero Sasana , where he was able to celebrate his greatest successes. With the club he was twice champion and twice runner-up. He also won the Thai Association Cup with the team in 2000. In 2003, he took part in the AFC Champions League with the club and reached the final with him. He was in the starting line-up in both games of the final. In the end they were defeated by the Al Ain Club after two legs . In total, he played 167 times for BEC-Tero and scored 24 goals. At the end of his career, he moved to Chula United FC in 2009 .

National team

With the national team of Thailand he took part in the 2004 Asian Cup finals. He was also part of the team that played a friendly against Liverpool FC in 2001 .

Trainer

From 2013 to 2015 he coached the second division BBCU FC from Bangkok . As an interim coach, he was responsible for the club in the 2017 season. He coached the second division Thai Honda FC from 2018 to 2019. Since 2020 he has been under contract with the second division Sisaket FC from Sisakt .
