Worawut Wangsawad ( Thai : วรวุฒิ วัง สวัสดิ์ ; born September 16, 1981 in Samut Prakan ) is a Thai former football player on the position of midfielder .

Career

Worawut began his career at the age of 20 with FC Osotspa M-150 . In total, he played for the club for six years and completed 104 games during this time. With the club he was able to become runner-up twice, in 2002 and 2006. He also won the Queen's Cup three times in a row with the club , from 2002 to 2004. In 2002/03 he took part with the team in the AFC Champions League . Even he could not prevent the club from surviving the group stage with zero points and only one goal. In 2007 he played with his club in the AFC Cup , but again he couldn't look forward to progressing. Worawut has been playing for TTM Samut Sakhon FC since 2009 .

For the Thai national team, he played for the U-19s and the U-23s . He took part with the U-23 in the Asian Games in 2002 and reached 4th place with the team. He was also in the squad of the U-23 who fought for qualification for the 2004 Summer Olympics .
