Administrative community Helmetal

The administrative community Helmetal was in the Thuringian district of Nordhausen . New communities were united in it to carry out their administrative business. Its administrative seat was in Werther.

The administrative community was founded on June 6, 1991. The municipalities of Mauderode and Pützlingen were added on June 18, 1994. The dissolution of the administrative community took place on January 1, 1997 through the formation of the unified community Werther from the member communities. The community of Hesserode, however, was incorporated into Nordhausen .
