As is customary with early inscriptions in Quedlinburg, the inscription is raised from the wood. The street-side gable is striking . The facade is decorated with stylized ship throats , profiled lugs and pyramid beam heads. The house is the first to feature the ornamental shape of the pyramid beam head in Quedlinburg. A mezzanine floor has been added to the ground floor . At a later time, the row of uprights in the right part of the building was changed.

The portal dates from the late renaissance period and was largely renewed around 1990.

The building was extensively renovated at the end of the 20th / beginning of the 21st century.
