The table tennis World Cup 1992 took place in its 13th edition from December 10th to 13th in Ho Chi Minh City , Vietnam . There was only one competition for men. Gold went to Ma Wenge from China .

mode

16 athletes took part in the competition, who were divided into four groups of four athletes each. The group first and second advanced to the main round, which was played in knockout mode. The semi-final losers played a game for third place. The game was played with two winning sets, in the main round with three winning sets.
