Kalinikos Kreanga (born March 8, 1972 in Bistrița , Romania ; Greek Καλλίνικος Κρεάνγκα ) is a Greek table tennis player .
Born in Romania, the table tennis player, then still known as Călin Creangă, left after the European Youth Championship in Luxembourg in 1989 with his father, emigrated to Greece and then changed his first name to Kalinikos. He currently plays in the French league for GU Hennebont TT
Kreanga has been one of the dominant table tennis players in Europe since the early 1990s. He is right-handed and uses the shake hand style . He prefers attacking play with topspins with forehand and backhand, which often leads to long rallies.
His most important individual titles so far are winning the Europe TOP-12 in February 2011 and the German Masters in August 2000 in Karlsruhe (European preparatory tournament for the Olympic Games in Sydney ).
