Wulf Dorn (born April 20, 1969 in Ichenhausen ) is a German writer and thriller author.

life and work

Dorn completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and foreign language correspondent and worked for twenty years in the care of psychiatric patients. Today he lives as a freelance writer near Ulm .

He began his literary work with horror short stories that appeared in the Pandaimonion series published by Wurdack-Verlag . His first novel Trigger was a surprise success in 2009 and was published in translation in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Greece, France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Turkey and the Netherlands. Wulf Dorn read the audio book version himself, while his other audio books were spoken by David Nathan and Laura Maire . His other novels have also been translated into numerous languages ​​and became bestsellers in several countries.

Recurring themes in Dorn's novels are guilt, loss, everyday evil and psychological phenomena. The setting of the first four novels is the area around the fictional town of Fahlenberg, while most of the plot of Phobia takes place in London .
