In Katja Ebstein's version , it was the German contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest in 1970 , where it took third place. Katja Ebstein recorded the song in 1970 in English (No More Love for Me), French (Un miracle peut arriver), Spanish (Siempre hay algún milagro), Italian (Nella strada del mio cuore) and Japanese (愛 の お と ず れ - Ai- no otozure) versions. In 2005 Katja Ebstein played Wunder there again and again as a bonus track for her album Witkiewicz .

The single was released in February 1970 on Liberty Records . It reached number 16 in the charts in Germany and was placed for five weeks.

The band Monrose sang the song in the preliminary round of Wer singt für Deutschland? (2007) . The song has been covered several times, for example by Guildo Horn , Karel Gott and Deborah Sasson .

The song's title has been used as a book title several times, for example by Jan Feddersen and René Martens .
