Sausage bread is a typical breakfast or dinner in Central Europe. It is also eaten instead of a warm lunch en route. Also as a snack , snack or food while hiking. In Switzerland there is the ham sandwich , an elongated white roll with a soft crust, as a double-decker filled with boiled ham, to buy at the butcher or baker, or at the kiosk. In France it is called “Le jambon beurre” and is a filled baguette .
