Xandra Hag (* 6. January 1970 as Alexandra Hagner in Velbert ) is a German singer.

Life

Xandra Hag had her first stage appearances at the age of 6 in ballet . At the age of 8 she was Germany's youngest ski acrobat and Westphalian champion in sport acrobatics . At the age of 15 she was already dancing in various groups from the tap and jazz dance area. At 16 she began her vocal training. In 1988 and 1989 she performed a dance and singing show in numerous talent competitions in Germany. In 1990 she was discovered by the music producer / lyricist and composer Klaus Pelizaeus . He published Xandra Hag's first hit song Guten Morgen (how about getting up?). This title drew the attention of radio editors of morning broadcasts and immediately achieved high radio ratings in Germany. From then on, Xandra Hag began to establish herself as a pop singer. With her fourth title Schöne Männer , she made her first TV appearances in the current showroom and in the TV garden .

Her debut album in 2001, Mein Zauberland, resulted in nine top 20 titles in the hit airplay charts. In 2006, Xandra Hag released the album On the Sunny Side. All of the singles extracted from it climbed into the top 10 of the airplay charts. The title Sometimes a day the whole world was held there for 18 weeks. With you through the night reached number 2 in the German airplay charts.

Xandra Hag worked and works together with the composers Tomas Sniadowski , Klaus Pelizaeus, Willy Klüter , Uwe Haselsteiner , Heiko Schneider and Ali Menke , as well as with the lyricists Klaus Pelizaeus, Heike Fransecky , Tobias Reitz , Edith Jeske , Franziska Menke and Andreas Zaron .

She lives in Hattingen .
