Uwe Haselsteiner (born November 17, 1961 in Mommenheim, Rheinhessen ) is a German singer, songwriter , keyboard player and producer .

Musical success

In 1979 he began to play as a keyboard player in various rock bands, for example the Rüsselsheimer Jost Band , which was the winner of the Phonoakademie.

From 1986 he worked as a studio musician and singer for, among others, Theo and Ulli Werdin, Music Park Studios Bad Homburg, and later as a keyboardist, arranger , chorus player and producer for Tony Hendrik, who founded the Coconut Records label with Karin Hartmann . Coconut Records for example, had 1989 album Hungry Hearts of The Searchers published, as well as albums for The Hollies , Bad Boys Blue and Xanadu .

Uwe Haselsteiner was a member of the band Xanadu , which took second place in the German preliminary decision for the Grand Prix d'Eurovision in 1989 with the song A Dream for this World and later reached number 75 in the German charts.

In 1990 he founded the X-talk Studio , which has been located in Bischofsheim near Mainz since 1999 . Together with Francesco Bruletti, he founded Harlequin Music & Songs in the mid-1990s . This team has been working in the hit business ever since. The greatest successes were 1st place for the song Men understand only what they want , sung by Gaby Baginsky , and 2nd place for the title If You Want by Die Paldauer at the German Schlager Festival in 1998 . The song Giovanna , sung by Claudio Deri , took second place at the Grand Prix of Folk Music in 2003 .

Haselsteiner composed and produced for Roland Kaiser , Ireen Sheer , Bernhard Brink , Andrea Jürgens , Hansi Hinterseer , Uta Bresan and Gaby Baginsky , among others . As a studio singer he can be heard on many productions, for example Bad Boys Blue , Chyp Notic , Flippers and Olaf .

Night fever

In the role of Maurice Gibb, he completes the group Night Fever , which interprets the hits of the Bee Gees . In addition to Uwe Haselsteiner, Michael Zai takes on the role of Barry Gibb and Franco Leon that of Robin Gibb . The group's current show is based on the legendary One Night Only concert on November 14, 1997 in Las Vegas. It was supposed to be the Bee Gees' last live performance, hence the name One Night Only , during which they presented many of their greatest hits again.
