ξ Aquilae ( Xi Aquilae , short ξ Aql ; also: Libertas ) is a giant star of the spectral class G9 in the constellation Eagle, about 200 light years away . He has a companion with the systematic name ξ Aquilae b , which could be an exoplanet .
companion
ξ Aquilae b ( Xi Aquilae b , also: Fortitudo ) is an exoplanet candidate. It orbits the central star with an orbital period of 137 days with a major semi-axis of approx. 0.7 astronomical units and has a mass of about 3 Jupiter's masses. The companion was developed by Bunei Sato et al. discovered.
