Xinzhou (Wuhan)
The municipality of Xinzhou ( Chinese 新洲區 / 新洲区 , Pinyin Xīnzhōu Qū ) is a municipality in the sub-provincial city of Wuhan , the capital of the Hubei Province in the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 1,409.7 km² and has 957,576 inhabitants (end of 2004). It is located on the northern bank of the central Yangtze .

At the community level, the district is made up of ten street districts and three large communities .
