Yūji Rokutan ( Japanese 六 反 勇 治 , Rokutan Yūji ; born April 10, 1987 in Kirishima , Kagoshima Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Yūji Rokutan learned to play soccer in the youth teams of Spider Kajiki and Diamant FC Kagoshima and in the school team of Kumamoto Kokufu High School . The goalkeeper signed his first professional contract in 2006 with Avispa Fukuoka . The club from Fukuoka , a city on Kyūshū , the southernmost of the Japanese main islands, played in the highest Japanese league, the J1 League . At the end of 2006 he had to relegate to the second division with Avispa. In 2010 he was third in the table with the club and rose to the first division. In 2012 the Yokohama F. Marinos signed him. For the first division club from Yokohama , he was twice in goal until the end of 2014. In 2013 he was in the final of the Emperor's Cup with the Marinos . The final was won 2-0 against Sanfrecce Hiroshima . In 2015 he moved to league rivals Vegalta Sendai in Sendai . He was in goal for Sendai 45 times by the end of 2016. In 2017 he switched to Shimizu S-Pulse, who also played in the first division . In early 2020 he was loaned to the first division promoted Yokohama FC to Yokohama.
