Yūjirō Kasahara ( Japanese 笠原 裕二郎 , Kasahara Yūjirō ; born February 9, 1984 in Tomakomai , Hokkaidō ) is a Japanese ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Tohoku Free Blades in the Asia League Ice Hockey since 2009 .

Career

Yūjirō Kasahara began his career as an ice hockey player in the amateur team X-united. He then signed a contract with Tohoku Free Blades, which began playing in the Asia League Ice Hockey in the 2009/10 season . In this, the attacker gave an assist in 14 games in his rookie year in professional ice hockey. He also received two penalty minutes. In the 2010/11 season, which ended prematurely due to the Tōhoku earthquake , he and his team won the championship title of the Asia League Ice Hockey for the first time.
