Yakup brat
Yakup Gör (born November 10, 1988 in Erzurum ) is a Turkish wrestler . In 2013 he was runner-up in the European free style in the lightweight .
Career
Yakup Gör started wrestling as a teenager in Erzurum in 2000. He belonged there to the wrestling club BB (Büyüksehir Belediyesi) Erzurum . He focuses on the free style and was or is trained by Adem Bereket and Ibrahim Akgün. He later moved to BB Istanbul . He is 1.73 meters tall and wrestling is z. Currently also his job.
As a junior, he wasn't particularly prominent. His first competitions on the international wrestling mat took place in 2010 when he was already 22 years old. In May 2010 he took 3rd place in the lightweight at the Mediterranean Games in Istanbul behind his compatriot Mustafa Kaya and Panagiotis Makrinas, Greece. In 2011 he was used at the European Championships in Dortmund. He came there to a victory over the Swiss Steven Graf, but then lost to Koba Kakaladze , Georgia. Since this did not reach the final, he was eliminated and took 10th place.
At the Turkish championship in 2012 he came in lightweight behind Muhammad Ilchan on the 2nd place. He was also used again at the 2012 European Championships in Belgrade, where he won with a win over Dejan Mitrow, Macedonia, a loss to Alan Gogayev , Russia, a win over Adam Blok, Poland and a loss in the decisive battle for a bronze medal against Dawit Safarjan , Armenia, was defeated. He came in 5th place. Yakup Gör did not qualify for the Olympic Games in London.
In 2013 he was back at the European Championships, which took place in Tbilisi, where he won a silver medal with victories over Dejan Mitrow, Ionut Adrian Moise, Romania and Ilyas Bekbulatow , Russia, with a defeat in the final against Dawit Safarjan.
