Yamato Machida ( Japanese 町 田 也 真人 ; born December 19, 1989 in Urawa-ku , Saitama Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Yamato Machida learned to play football in the university team of Senshū University . He signed his first professional contract with JEF United Ichihara Chiba in 2012 . The club from Ichihara , a city in Chiba Prefecture , played in the second highest Japanese league, the J2 League . By the end of 2018 he had played 156 second division games for JEF United. In 2019, the first division promoted Matsumoto Yamaga FC from Matsumoto signed him. After one season, the club had to return to the second class at the end of 2019. After 13 first division games, he moved to Ōita Trinita in early 2020 . The club from Ōita played in the first division, the J1 League .
