action
game
The game starts with a girl who is brought by a dragon into a strange library in which the worlds of the past, present and future are depicted in different books. The player is a young man named Koge from one of these “book worlds”, but who no longer knows the way back to his. The player is now supposed to find this girl on behalf of the residents of the library and use it to travel to the various “book worlds”.
Anime
The story is about Hazuki Azuma, a high school student who is looking for her sister Hatsumi, whom she fell in love with. After Hatsumi disappears, Hazuki is introduced to Lilith by a bird called Ken. Lilith is the third guardian of the large library, also called Yami. She joins Hazuki because Hatsumi is actually her biological sister Eve. Every single book in the large library represents a different “book world” to which Hazuki, Lilith and Ken travel in search of Hatsumi (Eve).
Characters
- Hazuki Azuma ( 東 葉 月 , Azuma Hazuki )
- Hazuki is a calm and serious girl who is also admired and loved by many girls at her school. When Hazuki was a young child, she had a strange illness, but was comforted and healed by Hatsumi at a spring festival. Hazuki has very strong feelings for her sister Hatsumi, which is also the reason why she started looking for Hatsumi.
- Hatsumi Azuma ( 東 初 美 , Azuma Hatsumi )
- Hatsumi is Hazuki's adoptive sister. Her real identity, however, is Eve, who is actually the guardian of the large library. Hatsumi (Eve) left her real sister Lilith alone with the big library to live 16 years in every book. Whenever Hatsumi (Eve) turns 16 in one world, she is enveloped in a green light and brought into another world.
- Lilith ( リ リ ス , Ririsu )
- Lilith is the real sister of Hatsumi (Eve) and also the guardian of the large library. She feels very attracted to Hazuki, she uses every opportunity to flirt with Hazuki, but Lilith does not pay any attention to her. She is a witch who seems a bit childish, but she also shows her friendly and vulnerable side at times.
- Ken ( ケ ン )
- Ken is a cockatiel with a strong Kansai dialect who has always accompanied the Guardians from generation to generation. He accompanies Hazuki and Lilith in search of Hatsumi (Eve).
