Yaron Elyashiv

Yaron Elyashiv (born December 30, 1981 ) is an Israeli musician ( tenor saxophone ) of modern jazz .

Act

Elyashiv came to New York in the mid-2000s, where he quickly made a name for himself and performed with his own groups at the Silver Spring Jazz Festival and the CUNY Jazz Festival . He also worked with musicians such as Ugonna Okegwo , Valery Ponomarev , Esperanza Spalding , Daniela Shaechter, Ruslan Khain , Tommy James , Bertha Hope , Satoshi Inoue, Kengo Nakamura , Dmitri Kolesnik , Janice Freedman, Phil Stewart, Ari Roland , Sacha Perry , Will Terril , Vincent Hsu and Richard Clements.

In 2007 the singer Myrna Lake brought him to participate in her album Yesterdays . In the same year his debut album I Remember You was released , in which musicians like Andrei Ryabov were involved. He continued to work as a member of the Eyal Vilner big band.
