Yasser Anwar Corona Delgado (born July 28, 1987 in Tepic ) is a retired Mexican soccer player . He last played until April 2018 at Club Tijuana in the Mexican first division .

Career

society

Corona began his career with the Monarcas Morelia . He made his debut on the 17th matchday of the Apertura 2006/07 against Club America . In 2008 he moved to Mérida FC , but was loaned to the Jaguares de Chiapas and Puebla FC . In 2011 he returned to the Monarcas, but was also back to the Chiapas and this time to the Club San Luis and the Querétaro Fútbol Club , which signed him in the summer of 2014. In June 2016 he moved to Club Tijuana . After suffering a fractured vertebra in a league game in January 2017 and unable to return to the field, he announced his retirement from professional football on April 30, 2018.

National team

Corona was appointed to the national team in June 2015 for the test matches against Costa Rica and Honduras . In July 2015 he was nominated for the Gold Cup , where he played his international match against Trinidad and Tobago on matchday 3 of the group stage . With Mexico he won the tournament.
