Yazaki Wiring Technologies Lietuva is a company in the Lithuanian port city of Klaipėda and a subsidiary of the Japanese company Yazaki Sōgyō . It's an automotive supplier. The production includes cabling systems , connector systems , electromechanical components, sensors and displays .

history

In 1999 the UAB "Baltijos automobilių technika" achieved a turnover of 253.508 million litas (70 million euros). 2000 employed 1,353 people. In 2001 "Yazaki" and " Siemens Automotive " bought the Lithuanian company. The Lithuanian company was the largest employer in the Klaipėda District . In 2005 there were 3,500 employees. In 2009 the company only had 150 employees. In 2004 a turnover of 539.259 million litas (156.18 million euros) was achieved.
