Yeşilhisar is a village in Hocalar County, Afyonkarahisar Province in Turkey . Yeşilhisar is about 9 km from Hocalar and 120 km from the provincial capital Afyon . Until 2003 the name was Ahırhisar when it was changed to Yeşilhisar (Green Fortress).

There are two primary schools in the village. Medical care is provided by a doctor and two nurses. Most of the citizens make their living from agriculture; grain, fruit and vegetables are grown.

The plateau (Yayla) and the fountains with their ice-cold water in Yeşilhisar are worth seeing. A large number of the citizens of Yeşilhisar live in Germany and France, a few in Austria and Switzerland.
