t3n.de is the online platform of the t3n magazine , which is published by yeebase media in Hanover . In addition to reporting on topics relating to the digital economy, the website offers a job exchange, a company directory, a weekly podcast and its own network for the digital industry. According to the IVW , t3n.de has around four million hits per month.

history

With the publication of the first print edition of the t3n magazine in 2005, an internet portal was started under the domain t3n-magazin.de. Its purpose was initially to promote the t3n magazine. Only later did an online offer with its own content develop. Over the years numerous portals have emerged under the domain yeebase.com, including a job exchange and a collaborative news portal. In September 2009, the publisher finally combined all themed portals under the t3n brand.

The editorial area focuses on the digital economy with a particular focus on the startup scene, careers , marketing , e-commerce , development , design , computer games including e-sports, as well as various future-oriented topics in the technology sector.

Media like Spiegel Online , Zeit Online and Die Welt have taken over content from t3n.de in the past. According to the company's own statements, exclusive research by the t3n editorial team met with broad media coverage several times. In 2017 t3n.de won the Tiger Award for the best online marketing magazine. Stephan Dörner has been editor-in-chief of t3n.de since 2016 .

t3n podcast

The t3n podcast deals with a relevant topic from the digital economy and society in half to three quarters of an hour issue per week. The conception and implementation is in the hands of online editor-in-chief Stephan Dörner and print editor-in-chief Luca Caracciolo . In the individual episodes, which are published on iTunes, Spotify and Soundcloud, both t3n editors and guests from the digital economy or politics have their say. These include, for example, the entrepreneur and founder Frank Thelen , Youtuber PietSmiet , science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar , digital author Sascha Lobo and the politicians Dorothee Bär , Christian Lindner , Lars Klingbeil and Martin Sonneborn . The audio format appeared from July 2015 to January 2018 under the name "Filterbase".

t3n Pioneers Network

In February 2018, the t3n Pioneers Network was announced in combination with the publication of a new logo and launched a few months later. The Pioneers Network is an online platform for the digital economy. Users can create their own profile and answer questions about their working life - this includes tips for books, podcasts and working methods. The aim of the network is to make the heads of the digital economy visible and to exchange ideas with one another.

Social media

In addition to its own Pioneers Network, t3n is also active in social media - lively contact with the community and presence on as many channels as possible are part of the company's declared brand strategy . The t3n channels on Facebook , Twitter , Instagram , Xing and LinkedIn have a total of over 550,000 subscribers (as of August 2018). According to company founder Andreas Lenz, most editors are also active with their own user accounts on social media, interact with their readers and involve the community in their work.
