Yeti Airlines is a Nepalese airline based in Kathmandu and based at Kathmandu Airport .

history

Yeti Airlines was founded in 1998. In 2009 she founded a subsidiary , Tara Air , which will now operate the STOL aircraft .

Since November 2013 Yeti Airlines has been on the list of operating bans for the airspace of the European Union together with all other airlines from Nepal due to safety concerns . Flights to Europe were not offered before.

In 2014 Yeti Airlines founded Himalaya Airlines as part of a joint venture with Tibet Airlines , which operates international scheduled flights from Kathmandu .
