Yeung Man Wai gained her first international experience at the Indoor Asian Championships 2016 in Doha , where she finished sixth with 1.70 m. In 2017 she won the silver medal at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar by jumping 1.80 m. At the Summer Universiade in Taipei , she took eighth place in the final. At the beginning of September she won the bronze medal at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat with a new national record of 1.83 m. In 2018 she took part in the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran , where she finished seventh with 1.70 minutes. At the end of August she qualified for the first time for the Asian Games in Jakarta , where she reached fifth place with 1.80 m. The following year, she jumped 1.75 m at the Asian Championships in Doha, finishing in fifth place.
From 2017 to 2019, Yeung became the Hong Kong high jump champion. She graduated from Hong Kong University with a degree in Business Management .
