York-Egbert King

York-Egbert König (* 1949 in Eschwege ) is a German historian and author of numerous works on the regional history of Hesse and Thuringia as well as editor .

Life

York-Egbert König studied Medieval and Modern History as well as historical auxiliary sciences and Finno-Ugric Studies at the Georg-August University in Göttingen .

He later took on a position in his hometown in the Eschwege city museum and in the Eschwege city archive , where he is, for example , co-editor of a regional reading book series at Husum Verlag together with the director of the city museum, Karl Kollmann .
