Victor Yoshimar Yotún Flores (born April 7, 1990 in Callao , Peru ) is a Peruvian football player who plays in the national team left full-back and left midfield. He is currently under contract with Orlando City .

Career

From the age of 7 he played for several clubs in his hometown of Callao, then he moved to the capital club Sporting Cristal . There he brought such outstanding performance that he was selected by journalists in a South America selection in 2012. He made his national team debut in 2011, and at the 2011 Copa America he finished third with Peru.

In 2013 he was loaned to the Brazilian top club CR Vasco da Gama , but then returned to Peru and won the championship title in the Primera División in 2014 . In January 2015 he left his home country again, this time he moved to Sweden and signed a three-year contract with the reigning champions Malmö FF . After a successful time in Malmö and winning the championship twice, Yotún moved to Orlando City SC in August 2017. Yotún is included in the preliminary World Cup squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The Peruvians qualified for the group stage of the World Cup for the first time since 1982. He was also in Peru's final squad for the World Cup, but after two 0-1 defeats to Denmark and France and a 2-0 win against Australia, Peru was eliminated in third in Group C in the group stage. Yotún was used in all three games.
