Yothin Yaprajan (born May 8, 1992 ) is a Thai middle-distance runner .

Athletic career

Yothin Yaprajan gained his first international experience in 2013 when he finished fourth in the 800 meter run in 1: 51.91 min at the Southeast Asian Games in Naypyidaw and finished fifth over 1500 meters after 4: 00.94 min. Two years later he won the bronze medal over 800 meters behind the Vietnamese Dương Văn Thái and Mervin Guarte from the Philippines at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore in 1: 52.32 minutes . He also won bronze over 1500 meters in 3: 49.35 minutes behind the Vietnamese Dương and Guarte. In 2017 at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar in 3: 55.91 min he finished ninth in the 1500 meter run and then at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur in 3: 53.41 min he won the silver medal over 1500 meters behind Dương and was above 800 meters in 1: 51.70 min fifth. In mid-September he started over 1500 meters at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat , but was eliminated there with 3: 59.82 minutes in the preliminary round. The following year he failed at the Asian Games in Jakarta in 1: 53.71 min and 4: 01.41 min over both distances in the lead. 2019 he left for the Asian Championships in Doha over 1,500 meters with 3: 55.49 minutes in the first round and won in the Southeast Asia Games in Capas in 4: 08.90 min the bronze medal behind the Vietnamese Dương and Mariano Masanobu from the Philippines.
