Youhanna Golta
Youhanna Golta (born January 27, 1937 in Kotna ) is Curia Bishop in Alexandria .
Life
Youhanna Golta was ordained a priest on September 25, 1960 . Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Alexandria and titular bishop of Andropolis on July 27, 1986 .
The patriarch of Alexandria , Stephanos II. Ghattas CM , donated him the episcopal ordination on August 29th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Youhanna Nueir OFM , Bishop of Assiut , and Athanasios Abadir , Bishop of Ismayliah .
In 1997 he was appointed Curia Bishop in Alexandria.
