Yspahan is a board game of the type of construction of the game . In three times seven rounds, the players place goods in bazaars in the Persian city of Isfahan and thus gain influence, which is expressed in money and camels. Buildings can be purchased with it.
The combination of dice, which creates luck and a tactical component, and rounds that build on one another (the days) as a strategic part creates a game that can please both casual and frequent gamers.
In October 2007, it was one of the four board games played at the European Board Game Championship .
