Yu Fengtong

Yu Fengtong ( Chinese  于凤桐 , Pinyin Yú Fèngtóng , born December 15, 1984 in Yichun (Heilongjiang) ) is a Chinese speed skater who specializes in sprint routes .

Yu Fengtong made his debut at the fourth World Cup of the season in Salt Lake City in 2004 . With a second place over 500 meters at the World Cup in Harbin in February 2002 , he came to a top rank for the first time. Two years later he won over 100 meters in Renon for the first time. Almost a dozen World Cup victories have followed to this day. In the 2003/04 season he won the overall World Cup over 100 meters and was fourth over 500 meters.

Yu participated in the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympics. The only good result was a fifth place over 500 meters in Turin. He also achieved this placement at the World Championships in Inzell the year before .
