Yue Yuan ( Chinese  岳 園  /  岳 园 , Pinyin Yuè Yuán ; born July 23, 1987 in Weifang , People's Republic of China ) is a Chinese beach volleyball player .

Career

Yue Yuan has been playing the FIVB World Tour with various partners since 2006 . In 2007 she was vice-Asian champion with Zhang Wenwen and in 2009 with Jin Jieqiong . In 2010 and 2011, Huang Ying was her partner. Huang / Yue's best result on the World Tour was a seventh place in Kristiansand . At the World Championships in Rome they were eliminated in the first main round against the Australians Bawden / Palmer . In 2012, Yue Yuan played her first tournaments alongside Wang Fan with moderate success. In November of that year she reached third place with Ma Yuanyuan at the Asian Championships. In 2013 Ma / Yue played mainly at national tournaments and became Asian champions in November. On the World Tour 2014 , Yue Yuan, this time again with Wang Fan, achieved top ten placements almost without exception. a. a second place at the Grand Slam in Shanghai . At the 2015 World Cup in the Netherlands , Wang / Yue finished fifth and ninth at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
