Yunak Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Юнак wrach Junak ) is a 600 m high and icy mountain in the Stribog Mountains on the Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 2.35 km southeast of Zelenika Peak , 3.8 km northwest of Terrada Point and 5.18 km east-southeast of Mount Imhotep at the southeast end of Gutsal Ridge . Its steep south-west and south-facing slopes are partially free of ice. The Buls Bay is southeast and the Hippocrates Glacier west of it.
British scientists mapped it in 1980 and 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2015 after the town of Junak in northeastern Bulgaria .
