The Buls Bay ( French Baie Buls ) is a 3 km wide bay on the east coast of the Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located immediately north of Cape d'Ursel .
It was discovered during the Belgica expedition (1897–1899) led by the Belgian polar explorer Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery , who named it after Karel Buls (1837–1914), then Mayor of Brussels and supporter of the research trip .
