Yves Beigbeder

Yves Beigbeder (born July 16, 1924 in Morlaix ) is a French lawyer . Beigbeder took part in the Nuremberg trials . He was a professor of international law and worked a. a. for the United Nations , FAO and WHO .

Life

The young lawyer Yves Beigbeder worked in 1946 for the French judge Henri Donnedieu de Vabres at the Nuremberg Tribunal . After studying in the USA, he worked for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in Rome, then for the World Health Organization in Brazzaville, Copenhagen, Alexandria and New Delhi (where his last post was Deputy Head of Human Resources in Geneva).

He holds a PhD in public law and has lectured on international organizations, international civil service and international criminal courts at universities in Paris, Geneva, St. Louis, Boston and Vancouver. He has written numerous works in French and English on the same subjects.

Today he lives in Thonon .
