The Phantom 380X-1 is a four-wheeled (4 × 4) all-wheel drive Thai mine-protected transporter and is manufactured by Panus Assembly .
description
The crew of the Phantom 380X-1 consists of a driver and a front passenger; it can also accommodate 9 soldiers in the interior, who enter the vehicle through a door at the rear. The hydraulically driven door is folded down and also serves as an entry and exit aid. The vehicle is armored according to STANAG Level 4b against caliber 14.5 × 114 mm , explosive tank mines with 10 kg TNT in the middle under the vehicle and against 155 mm artillery fire from 30 m.
Armament
The basic version of the Phantom 380X-1 is unarmed, but can accommodate various superstructures on the roof and has lockable hatches and loopholes on both sides of the vehicle.
