description

In the standard version, the vehicle is equipped with a 105 mm cannon , a 12.7 mm machine gun and a 7.62 mm machine gun.

The EE-17/18 Sucuri is fully armored. The armor is made of multilayered rolled steel, as used on other Engesa armored vehicles. The armor essentially consists of two layers, an inner, less rigid layer and an outer, rigid steel layer. Brazilian tests showed that this method promised better protection.

The EE-17/18 is equipped with a 6-cylinder Saab Scania DSI 11 diesel engine that develops 295 hp.
