The WZ551 (alternative designation Type 92 ) is a six-wheeled (6 × 6) Chinese troop transport that has been used in the army of the People's Liberation Army since the mid-1990s . There is also a 4 × 4 variant, an 8 × 8 variant is in the development phase.

The armored vehicle developed by the Chinese armaments company Norinco is very similar to the French armored vehicle VAB .
