The Military Industry Corporation is the state armaments company of Sudan . It is located in Khartoum and supplies the Sudanese army with weapons, but has also been increasingly active in the arms export business in recent years.

Military Industry Corporation has become one of the largest armaments groups in Africa in recent years. In addition to supplying the Sudanese army , Sudan is increasingly exporting arms and has become one of the “world's most dynamic arms markets”. Alshagara Industrial Complex (AIC)
In 1959 the AIC was inaugurated, which still produces ammunition for handguns today. Mortars and bombs are also manufactured there. In 1994 MIC was placed under the Ministry of Defense by decree. Since then the company has expanded enormously. Various new complexes were created.
Yarmouk Industrial Complex (YIC)
The YIC has been producing dual-use goods for the transport and mechanical engineering industries since 1996 . There is a rocket factory, a heavy artillery factory, a medium and heavy ammunition factory, a light artillery ammunition factory and a machine gun factory.
Saria Industrial Complex
Shoes and uniforms have been manufactured there since 1997.
Elshaheed Ibrahim Shamseldeen Complex
This complex has been producing tanks, self-propelled guns and armored vehicles / armored personnel carriers since 2002. Together with the South African company Denel , MIC is one of the two African tank manufacturers.
Alzargaa Engineering Complex
The AEC has been supplying electronic products and equipment for the Sudanese army and foreign customers since 2004 (including target acquisition lasers and fire control systems ).

Aircraft and helicopters such as the Mil Mi-24 , Mil Mi-8 and Nanchang Q-5 will also be serviced in-house in the near future . The self-developed glide bomb BK-3 Burkan was first presented at the IDEX2017 military fair. There is a partnership between the Novosibirsk aircraft factory and the SAC.
