Sansevieria concinna is a species of plant in the genus Sansevieria in the asparagus family (Asparagaceae). The specific epithet concinna comes from Latin and means 'graceful, well-formed'.
description
Sansevieria concinna grows without a trunk as a perennial , succulent plant with approximately 1.25 centimeters thick rhizomes . The more or less than five rosette leaves are spread out and lanceolate in shape. The simple leaf blade is 15 to 25 inches long and 1.25 to 3 inches wide. It is narrowed from the base into a 4 to 9 centimeter long rutted stem and provided with green with pale green transverse bands. The green spade tip is 4 to 8 millimeters long and sub-sub. The green edge of the spade is hardly hardened. The leaf surface is smooth.
The single- eared inflorescences are 15 to 30 centimeters long. They have a green, purple colored, and spotted stem. The panicles are densely covered with one to two flowers per tuft. The bracts are lanceolate and pointed and 6 to 9 millimeters long. The flower stalk is 3 to 4 millimeters long. The bracts are white. The flower tube is up to 4.5 inches long. The tips are 2 inches long.
distribution
Sansevieria concinna is distributed in Mozambique , Tanzania , Zimbabwe and in South Africa in Natal in the shade of coastal forests on sandy soil.

The first description of Sansevieria concinna was in 1915 by Nicholas Edward Brown .
A synonym for Sansevieria concinna N.E.Br. is: Sansevieria subspicata var. concinna (NEBr.) Mbunga (2007).
